Mixed Media Artist

In my work, African fabric meets acrylic paint in a dialogue between heritage and emotion. I layer fabric onto canvas, trace its patterns in graphite, and paint over them in flowing tones. Each piece becomes a process of blending the tactile with the spiritual, memory with feeling, and the visible with the deeply internal.

About the Artist

Born and raised in Uganda, I grew up surrounded by creativity woven into everyday life through textiles, craft, storytelling, and design. My artistic journey has moved through photography, fashion, poetry, and painting, eventually leading me to mixed media as a way of bringing these disciplines together. Using African fabric, graphite, gesso, and acrylic paint, I create layered works that explore identity, emotion, transformation, and cultural memory. My process is intuitive and texture-driven, allowing the materials themselves to shape the emotional landscape of each piece.
